Gray In, Odejayi Out Barnsley manager Mark Robins has brought in one player and sent out one as he bids to strengthen the squad.
In comes midfielder Julian Gray on a free transfer. He was released by Fulham at the end of last season after arriving from Coventry City.
The 29 year old started his career as a trainee at Arsenal before moving to Crystal Palace. Gray has also played for Cardiff City and Birmingham City.
Reds boss Mark Robins told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Julian will bring a lot of pace into our side. He can play at left back but normally operates in front of that and has bags of experience in the Championship and Premier League.
"He will come in initially on a monthly deal and will add a lot to our squad".
As Julian Gray walked in through one door, Kayode Odejayi left via another as he heads to Colchester United on an emergency loan.
Having made 82 appearances for Barnsley and scoring the goal that sent the Reds to Wembley, Mark Robins told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Kayode needs to kick start his career. He will go to Colchester for an initial three months and we will take it from there."
