Barnsley face delay with naming new manager

In a club statement, Barnsley FC have said, "Barnsley Football Club are still in protracted negotiations with Rotherham United FC regarding a compensation package for manager Mark Robins and his backroom team and these discussions have not been concluded at present.

"Barnsley Football Club hope to be in a position to unveil its new manager in the very near future."

Whilst the statement confirms that Robins is indeed Oakwell bound, Rotherham United appear to be looking to maximise any possible compensation for the loss of their manager.
