Mark Robins is finally the new Barnsley manager
Written by Mark Stokes on Monday 7th September 2009

Mark Robins has finally made it to Oakwell and has been officially announced as Barnsley's manager.

A press conference will be held later today where he will lay out his vision for the Club.

Rotherham Managerial Career

It would be fair to say that Robins has done wonders for Rotherham. In the previous two seasons he has had to contend with firstly a ten point deduction and then a 17 point deduction and when he came into the job the team was 13 points adrift in League One and subsequently relegated.

Since relegation he has had 98 league games in charge of the Millers, winning 47, drawing 23 and losing 28.

He has achieved that on a very limited budget and there are many who think Mark Robins is an excellent managerial choice.
