Boothroyd, Robins and Jewell lead betting Simon Davey may have left Barnsley Football Club yesterday, but already odds are in place for his successor.
Although the football club have not looked at anyone Aidy Boothroyd and Rotherham's manager Mark Robins are leading the odds according to Victor Chandler.
Tony Adams, who was at Oakwell two weeks ago to watch Barnsley v Preston is quoted at 10/1 for the hot seat and former Derby boss, Paul Jewell is third favourite at 6/1.
Although not on the list Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins must also be a possible choice after proving very successful on a small budget.
The board at Barnsley will not doubt have their own thoughts and it will be an interesting week of rumour and conjecture amongst Barnsley fans.
Victor Chandler Odds:
2/1 - Aidy Boothroyd
