Barnsley face Reading away in Carling Cup

Barnsley will have to travel to Reading in the second round of the Carling Cup.

Barnsley will face Reading at home the following Saturday in the Coca Cola Championship.

Port Vale have been rewarded for dumping Sheffield United out of the cup with a chance to do the same with Sheffield Wednesday.

Doncaster have a glamour tie with Tottenham Hotspurs coming to the Keepmoat.

The tie will take place on the week commencing 24th August.

Barnsley's opponents on Saturday were beaten by Hartlepool tonight in the Carling Cup having to go to extra time.
