Audio: Davey delighted with win
Written by Mark Stokes on Sunday 3rd May 2009

Simon Davey:

We had a nightmare of a start and in the first 10 or 15 minutes we looked nervous. They were magnificent from then on. They bounced back very well and the best team on the day. I am proud of everyone of them.

The turning point was Steele's save. If that went in the back of the net then it is a different outlook. It was a great save.

We knew the Norwich score but is was all about taking care of our own business. We did our bit.

We need to improve. Hopefully with a few additions in the summer we are not far short of being a very good side in this division.

Over the last few games we have not been beaten under all the pressure. We are getting back on that bus as Championship players and not League One.

Staying up is a celebration and it is not. At the end of the day we shouldn't be there. The players are not players that should be in this position.
