Davey's Big Day! Have you approached the buildup to this match any differently from normal? Only what we have done in the last month where we have been coming down an extra day to get the journey out of the players legs. Other than that they have had the same preparation as any other away game. Do you expect the nerves to show early on in the game?
There is always a sparring five or ten minutes in any game. The importance of the fixture you may see some, but in the build up to the game the players haven't looked nervous, but I will only find that out at 1.15pm. If they do then a good tackle, a good pass, a good cross early on will settle them down.
A draw is enough, but how important would it be to finish with a win?
You don't want to stay in the division by default, losing the game and Norwich losing. I have always said we have have to take care of our own business and everything else is incidental in other games.
Has Foster recovered from illness and losing all that weight?
He has trained with us all week and he is back up to his fighting weight and raring to go and he will start.
Would you say this season you have learned a lot from this season that will help to plan for a successful 2009/10 campaign?
Football in general tends to be not a building plan. This is the end of my third season and you learn every. You learn from the highs and lows. There have been a lot of learning curves this season and I have found out the true character of my players. I believe we will stay up and be able to plan an assault next season on getting closer to the play offs.
Can you still enjoy the job when you are under so much pressure?
You always enjoy the job. It's either in your blood or not. I enjoy every part of it. Obviously no one likes to lose games, but that is part and parcel of it.
Do you think that signing Jamie Ward would have made the difference?
There are lots of players that got away. Losing Iain was the biggest blow for me. We have missed targets, Jamie is one. His goal scoring record at Sheffield hasn't been great. If you look at Bogdanovic and Mifsud coming in the pair have got more goals than Jamie Ward. There are players that didn't hit the press that we have missed that would have given us more balance and more impetus in the division. We have to make sure that transfer targets this summer compensate for ones we missed this season.
There will be around 1,500 supporters today. How important will they be this afternoon?
They will be massive. I think I have seen 2,500 already here. I am sure from what we have seen in the last two days they will be in buoyant mood and they will have a major part to play today. Plymouth have nothing to play for and our fans will create the atmosphere we need to get the right result.
Is Darren starts it will be his 500th league start. What influence has he played in the team this season?
He has been massive. He came in for stick at the beginning of the season, but many people didn't realise he had an operation in the summer and needed the games under his belt to get back to where he needed to be. After the first month Darren has be arguably one of the best players in the group and one of the most consistent. He is a massive influence in the dressing room and his experience have stood him in great stead. He is one of the most professional players we have ever worked with. Hopefully it will be marked with a win.
