After coming back from there Easter break Crowns looked a bit sluggish in the first quarter going a goal down after fine work by Mexborough. After the first break Crowns looked to have pick up the pace with a excellent goal from Jordan Coldwell only to be hit by two more excellent Mexborough goals.

Crowns again stepped up the pace and duly grabbed two quick fire goals first from skipper Ethan Shillito with a well taken drive then Curtis Lumb with a poachers goal to equalize over all a fine team performance from Crowns who also had five players missing. Man of the match for Crowns was Curtis Lumb.
