A SCHOLAR with the Reds Academy, Jamil burst onto the scene at the end of the 20072008 campaign when he was handed his first team debut as a 17-year-old against Cardiff City.

He showed a lot of promise during his brief cameo at Ninian Park and is definitely one for the future at Oakwell.

A talented striker with an eye for goal, Jamil has been a regular on the scoresheet at reserve team and Academy level.
